How Time Flies!

I am in my kitchen cleaning while listening to a CD titled "The Newton-Morphew Wedding", which has, by the way, great music on it. It got me thinking though, when Josh and Salena got married, Cabe and I had just celebrated the birth of our first son and then our 2nd/3rd wedding anniversary :-), my best friend had just celebrated her first wedding anniversary and another good friend from elementary school was just starting her last year of med school. Since then we have 2 kids, 2.5 and 3.5, Heather just had her daughter's second birthday party last night and is pregnant with number 2, another girl. Her and Dave will be celebrating 5 years this summer. My friend Ginger is almost done with her first year of residency at a great hospital, Royal Oak Beaumont and is happily married. Also, my sister and her husband gave birth to the first girl in the family since me and she just turned two! I just can't believe that it's been long enough for all of that to happen! Can you believe that Cabe and I have known each other for almost ten years and have been married for almost 6/7 years. Just in case somebody who is reading this doesn't know, Cabe and I were married twice, September 15th of 2000 and 2001. Anyway, I am just amazed, you hear all of these horror stories of people getting married and thinking their lives are over after just a couple of years but, I couldn't ask for anything better. I have loved it all, the ups and downs, the friends and family, everything!
Thanks Josh and Salena for the trip down memory lane. :-)

I'm feeling old. It seems like the other day you and Heather were calling me at 10pm, on a night when I had to work at 6am the next day, begging me to go to Canada with you. I wouldn't even think of doing that now. Time does fly when you're having fun. :-)

It also might have been more fun if we didn't have a 2 & 3 year olds birthday party to go to the next day. At the HOT, SMELLY ZOO!!!!! What a great mom I am. :-)
