Arctic Ring of LifeWe are usually at the zoo about once every couple of weeks, and although I like the zoo as a whole I have never been all that impressed with the "Arctic Ring of Life". Every time that I have been there with the kids the polar bears are sleeping or basically inactive for whatever reason. A couple weeks ago when I was there I was with a friend, her little ones love it so I of course had to drag my feet, and the kids along the long and boring path. We got into the tunnel that is under water and glass on three sides and right in the middle was a very large and very cool polar bear, just kind of hanging out. So without further ado... here are the pics

When you were with us, you went through that tunnel as if God himself was at the other end waiting for you while looking annoyingly at his watch.
Maybe if we had waited, we could have also seen the polar bear?
I love that last pic of the bear swimming away... Ha!
